The meeting was opened by a welcoming speech from Mr Boris Gîlcă, Advisor to the Prime Minister, who mentioned the significant role that civil society plays the process of consultations of policy developed and promoted by the Government. He also spoke about the importance of promoting activities of the Government by the media.

However, those present were greeted by Mr. Andrew Vrabie, project manager at the EU Delegation in Moldova, who noted that promotion of human rights, especially children's rights is a priority for the European Union. The projects financed by the EU Delegation in the Republic of Moldova will continue, and out country will receive all necessary assistance.
